Say Cheese!

Ever since Rhyan has been a month old, I've taken her picture in the same chair with the same animal every month. I always want to remember her first year because they grow so fast! Well, the first few months were easy. Prop her up in the chair and snap away. Now, no way Jose! It's a good picture if she just looks at the camera, much less smile. Adventures in "Babysitting"

Jonathan and I have both been home the past two days due to the bad weather and he had a day off. We've had lots of fun being able to play with Rhyan all day. She has started to pull up to standing now. And she's even been brave enough to "cruise" along the couch or other furniture she holds on to. I guess we better watch out! I thought we were exhausted enough trying to keep up with her crawling everywhere! Here are a few pics of our play days.

Back to the grind tomorrow! Only two more days though. :)

Winter Weather, Crazy Hair

I read blogs from time to time, but have never really gotten into the whole "blogger world", and Jonathan tells me all the time to go to our blog page, so here I am. I had some extra time on my hands since we got out of school early today and I thought I would post my first blog! We got to spend the afternoon at home together which rarely happens except for weekends, so after Rhyan got up from her nap, she had the craziest hair! Take a look

Raising Up A Child Correctly

Rhyan at 1 month. Yes you are seeing your screen correctly. Although we live in Arkansas, we are training Rhyan correctly. She will NEVER wear anything with a hog on it or a longhorn for that matter.
