Swimming!

I thought that when school got out, I would have all this free time to catch up on things I didn't have time to do while I was working, but that hasn't been the case. So, before it started being 107 degrees outside every day, Rhyan went swimming a couple of weeks ago. I've been meaning to post these pictures but like I said, it hasn't happened. Rhyan LOVES water. I wish I had as much fun as she does taking a bath! I figured she would love being in a swimming pool, and she did. We had a lot of fun. We're going on vacation in a few weeks, so I'm excited to see how she'll like a "real" swimming pool.

Here's a picture of me and my little girl. We're so ready for summer! Things have been busy busy wrapping up the school year. I'm ready to be at home and enjoy Rhyan for a couple of months!

The Park

This past weekend, we went to visit my parents in Texarkana. It was such a pretty day that we took Rhyan to the park. She loved it! We fed the ducks, she swang , and slid down the slides. She also loves to people watch. Spring Lake Park is such a good park, it's too bad Conway doesn't have a better one.

Say Cheese!

Ever since Rhyan has been a month old, I've taken her picture in the same chair with the same animal every month. I always want to remember her first year because they grow so fast! Well, the first few months were easy. Prop her up in the chair and snap away. Now, no way Jose! It's a good picture if she just looks at the camera, much less smile. This is a look at what our "photo sessions" are like:
